Customize options in AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk for BlackBerry devices

  1. From the “Home” tab Home tab icon, press the phone’s Menu key, and then tap/click Options.

  2. Options menu appears.
    Note: To change default settings, tap/click the related dropdown, and then tap/click new selection.
  3. “Alerts and Sounds”: These settings only apply to Enhanced PTT

    Step 2-3

    • “Vibrate Alert” (defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”
    • “Audible Alert “(defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”
    • “Alert Repeat” (defaults to Once); possible choices: “Once”, “Repeat”, or “Continuous”
    • “Bluetooth” (defaults to Enable) ; possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”
    • “Privacy Mode” (defaults to Earpiece) ; possible choices: “Earpiece” or “Mute”

  4. “Notification Control”: These settings only apply to Enhanced PTT

    Step 4

    • “Send Alert” (defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”
    • “Missed Call Alert” (defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”
    • “Auto Start” (defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”.
    • “Wi-Fi” (defaults to Disable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”.
    • “Call Reconnect Tone” (defaults to Enable); possible choices: “Enable” or “Disable”.

  5. “Information”: These settings only apply to Enhanced PTT

    Step 5

    • “Display Name” (defaults to ATT); scroll to name field, and then type desired display name.
    • “Capacity”; to display current Enhanced PTT capacity, tap/click Capacity, and then press the phone’s Back key when finished.
    • “About”; to display additional information about the Enhanced PTT application, tap/click About, and then press the phone’s Back key when finished.

  6. “Actions”: These settings only apply to Enhanced PTT

    Step 6

    • “Show Tutorial” Tap/click Show Tutorial to launch the Enhanced PTT tutorial in the browser, and then press the phone’s Back key when finished.
    • “Show EULA” Tap/click Show EULA to display the End User License Agreement for AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk, and then press the phone’s Back key when finished.
    • “Restore Default Settings” To restore all settings to default, tap/click Restore and then tap/click Yes to confirm.
    • “Logout” To log out of the Enhanced PTT application, tap/click Logout, and then tap/click Yes to confirm.

  7. When you are done, press the phone’s Back key to return to the Home tab Home tab icon.
