Creating an Auto Reply with scheduled start and stop times using the AT&T Landline Texting web application

Note: The character count for the custom signature is included in the 160 character limit for texts.

  1. From the AT&T Landline Texting web application home page, click Auto Reply On

  2. Click +ADD

  3. Click in the “Name this auto reply” box and enter the name of the auto reply.
  4. Click in the “Type your auto reply message” box and enter your auto reply.
  5. Click On.
  6. Click Schedule start and stop times and schedule the appropriate times for the Auto Reply.

  7. Using the down arrow, scroll to the bottom of the settings.
  8. Click Off or On to turn the Auto Reply on or off for the appropriate days.

  9. Click the dropdown arrow below “Start Time” for the first day, scroll to the appropriate time, and select the start time for the day.Note: You cannot type the time into the field. The time must be selected from the dropdown listing of times.
    Note: The time selected is from the time zone of the device scheduling the text.
  10. Repeat the process for each day the text should be sent.

  11. Click the dropdown arrow below “End Time” for the first day, scroll to the appropriate time, and select the end time for the day.
    Note: You cannot type the time into the field. The time must be selected from the dropdown listing of times.
    Note: The time selected is from the time zone of the device scheduling the text.
  12. Repeat the process for each day the text should be sent.

  13. Click SAVE

  14. The scheduled Auto Reply is saved.
