Create new contact manually in Enhanced Push-to-Talk (Enhanced PTT) for Android devices

  1. From the “Home” tab Home tab icon, tap the plus sign plus sign icon.

  2. Tap New PTT Contact.

  3. Tap Manual Input.

  4. Tap in the “Contact name” field to activate keypad.

  5. Type desired contact name, and then tap Next.

  6. To select a picture, tap the “Icon” thumbnail.

  7. You may choose one of three icon options:
    1. Select a pre-set icon and then tap Save.

    2. Take a new photo.
      1. Tap the camera icon camera icon.

      2. Aim camera and tap the camera button to take a photo.

      3. Tap Save.

    3. Select a photo from your phone.
      1. Tap Photo Gallery.

      2. Select a photo from your photo gallery.
      3. Crop the photo, and then tap Done.
        Note: Tap and drag the crop tool to move. Tap and drag a corner to resize.

  8. To select contact’s display color, tap the “Color” thumbnail.

  9. Tap desired color, and then tap Save.

  10. To set contact as a favorite, tap the “Favorite” thumbnail.

  11. Tap in the “Phone number” field to activate keypad, and then type phone number and tap Save.
    Note: Once created, a contact’s phone number may not be edited.

  12. Your new Enhanced Push-to-Talk contact is in the “Contacts” tab Contacts tab icon, ready for use.
