- What is Call Park?
Call Park is a feature which allows AT&T Office@Hand users to put a call on public call park and have a user pick up on another phone in the network by dialing the touch-tone command for that public location. For example, *801 to retrieve the call.
- Does Call Park work for both inbound and outbound calling?
Yes, Call Park works both ways:
- Inbound – both inside and outside the Office@Handnsystem
- Outbound – only outside the Office@Hand system. It does not work within the Office@Hand system.
Example: User A within Office@Hand account cannot park an outbound call to user B.
- Does it work only on AT&T Office@Hand devices?
Incoming calls can be parked and retrieved on any AT&T Office@Hand devices, regardless of office location. However, calls can also be parked using your home phone, AT&T Office@Hand Desktop App or Mobile App as long as it’s part of the call routing/forwarding rules.
- What is Park Location?
It’s the virtual system location – not to be confused with user extensions. Virtual locations where an inbound or outbound call is parked are preceded by an asterisk symbol (*).
- Maximum number of simultaneously parked locations are 100, which range from *800 – *899
- Yes, calls can be parked in a public or private call park. To learn more about private call park, go to Setting up and Using Park Locations.
- Can I park to a specific User extension?
Yes, calls can be parked in a public or a private call park.
- How much does Call Park cost?
Call Park feature is included for free with AT&T Office@Hand plans.
- What are the supported desk phones for this feature?
Public Call Park is available on all AT&T Office@Hand devices.
- How many calls can I park in a single location?
You can park one (1) call per park location.
- How may Park Locations can I have?
You’re allowed up to 100 park locations.
- How many users are allowed in a Park Location?
Not limited.
- On what AT&T Office@Hand service is it available to?
Call Park is available in all AT&T Office@Hand plans.
- Does Call Park work for transferred calls?
It is only supported for warm transfers on desk phone using call park soft key.
- Can I perform Call Park using my Office@Hand Mobile app?
Yes, you can park and retrieve a parked call using your Office@Hand Mobile app.
- What happens if someone that does not belong to Park Location dials the DTMF codes to pick up?
He will receive the following message: This group does not accept phone calls. You will now be disconnected.
- How long does a call stay parked?
Park recall timer is 5 minutes — then the call automatically disconnects.
- Can a user be added to multiple Park Location groups?

- When I park a call at a Parked Location, will there be a virtual extension number announced?
No. The parked call in a Park Location will be visible on a member’s phone only. You can only pick up the parked call from your desk phone.
- What happens if I pick up a parked call with an active call in progress on another line?
No. The parked call in a Park Location will be visible on a member’s phone only. You can only pick up the parked call from your desk phone.
- What happens if I try to park a call that’s on-hold, or incoming call?
Error prompt will be played: “Call is no longer available to pickup.” The calls are not affected.
