Assigning ringtones for incoming calls in the AT&T Office@Hand app

This article describes how users can assign distinct ringtones to help identify incoming calls for their different phone numbers and call queues.

You can customize incoming calls with different ringtones to your AT&T Office@Hand phone numbers. Assigning unique ringtones lets you quickly identify whether a call is coming from a specific contact, a coworker, or a customer in your call queue, allowing you to prioritize accordingly.

You can also manage notifications and sounds for messages and video calls.

 

Assigning ringtones in the AT&T Office@Hand desktop and web app

  1. In the navigation bar, click Settings.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. Under Sounds, click the dropdown to the right of Ringtones to change the default ringtone for all incoming calls.
  4. Click Manage to customize the ringtones for specific types of calls and individual contacts.

  5. Under Assign unique ringtones to, you can customize the ringtones for:
    • Contacts: Individuals in your contacts list.
    • Call queues: Calls routed to your queues.
    • Internal calls: Calls from your coworkers.
    • Primary number: Calls to the phone number displayed in your profile.
    • Direct number: Calls to your other direct numbers if you have multiple lines.

To assign a unique ringtone to an individual contact:

  1. Click Manage to the right of Contacts.
  2. Enter a name and select it from the list of results.
  3. Click the Phone Ring dropdown and select a ringtone or add a custom MP3 or WAV audio file.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Hover over their name to change the ringtone again or to delete it.
    Note: You can preview the ringtone by clicking the Play icon.

You can also adjust your ringtones from your Phone settings.

  1. In the navigation bar, click Settings.
  2. Click Phone.
  3. Under Incoming calls, click the dropdown to the right of Ringtones to change the default ringtone for all incoming calls.
  4. Click Manage to customize the ringtones for specific types of calls and individual contacts.

Assigning ringtones in the AT&T Office@Hand mobile app

  1. In the upper left corner, tap your Profile.
  2. Under Settings, tap Notifications.
  3. Under Notification Sounds, tap Ringtones.

  4. Tap Default ringtone to change the ringtone for all incoming calls.
  5. Under Assign unique ringtones to, you can customize ringtones for:
    • Contacts: Individuals in your contacts list.
    • Call Queues: Calls directed to your queues.
    • Internal calls: Calls from your coworkers.
    • Primary number: Calls to the phone number displayed in your profile.

You can also access ringtone settings by following these steps.

  1. In the upper left corner, tap your Profile.
  2. Under Settings, tap Phone.
  3. Under Incoming calls, tap Ringtones.
