Accept a credit card payment with Vantiv Mobile Accept on an Android device

  1. Launch the Vantiv Mobile Accept app.

  2. Enter your credentials and tap Log In.

  3. Enter the amount of the sale in dollars and cents, and then tap Next.

  4. Review your sale, and then tap Next.
    Note: If you need to add a discount percentage or change the tax percentage, simply tap the appropriate field and edit accordingly.

  5. With the Vantiv Mobile Accept card reader plugged into the headphone jack, swipe the customer’s credit card.
    Note: If the credit card is not at hand or not registering a swipe, you can enter the card number manually.

  6. A customer signature will now be requested. Have the customer sign, and the tap Next.
    Note: The customer will be able to select a gratuity amount, if any, by sliding the percentage bar at the bottom of the screen.

  7. To provide the customer with an electronic receipt, have the customer enter their email address, and then tap Done.

  8. The transaction is now complete, tap Continue.

  9. Enter purchase notes and an invoice number if desired, and then tap Done. If you wish to skip this step, tap Skip.
    Note: If you wish to display the purchase notes and invoice number on the customer’s receipt, swipe the toggle from OFF to ON.

  10. Your transaction is now complete.
